Hattie Mcdaniel 1895-1952

 This woman was an the first woman of color to wn and Academy Award. Mcdaniel was born in Wichita, Kansas She  met her creater at  57 years young.  McDaniel's career gave her a ife some could only dream of . She was often tpe casted into maid or domestic help roles.

 She ave her 'oscar ' to Howard University however no one knows it where abouts. 

 it  took another 24 years  before the second actor of color would win Sydney potiey.   1952= rosedale..   ahe died within a year
